Haifa. Harbour East Side

Beginning in the late 1920s, Patrick Abercrombie (1879–1957), one of Britain’s most influential and conceptually ambitious town planners, and his former student, Clifford Holliday (1897–1960), were heavily involved in the creation of plans for the development of the harbour area in Haifa and the city’s extension northwards in the direction of Acre.
